Fishing Report: Feb 28th 2022

Temps are warming up in Palm Coast and so is the fishing! Making for lots of happy costumers over the past few weeks. Redfish, trout, flounder, and black drum just to name a few, can be found chewing this time of year making for a great mixed bag in the flats and creeks. Also the top-water bite for early morning and late afternoon is starting to pick up with the warming temperatures. For more experienced anglers looking to sight fish redfish the option of looking for “crawling” fish is available. A crawling fish is a redfish that is looking for food so shallow that it’s back and tail is sticking out of the water slowly cruising down a shoreline, in my opinion its one of the coolest ways to target redfish! With that being said there’s lots going on in the palm coast area right now and with the beautiful weather we’ve been having its a great time to book trip with Grand Slam Fishing and get out on the water to catch a memory of your own!
